Ready to make big Moves 2019

WOW! Can't believe this year is almost over! I just felt like this year passed by so fast and I did not get a chance to really sit down and work on my personal business. This year was a learning year from work challenges, parenting (my daughter is now 10 years old), and working on my business. I learned this year regarding work how to handle big changes from taking on a project managing role and at the same time working on my own projects. I learned how to handle changes and how to balance my life. Sometimes you have to go through things like this to make you stronger and find ways how to make situations better. I got to work on some fun projects that I'm excited for you all to see next year!! As for parenting is been crazy! First, working full time and then coming home to deal with my daughter new changes in her life. She's already in the tween stages so she's asking big questions, and me having to have the TALK with her. My daughter loves science so the way I approached it was more in a scientific way, which she actually like it. She did not freak out but she did say WHAT THAT'S HOW I WAS MADE?! lol! I did not go all in details but just the basic. No birds and bees for me. haha! I had to be more realistic with her but PG. lol! I've been challenged by her emotions. One thing I love that she comes to me and we talk about whatever issues she's having at school or just in general. I want her to know that mommy is always there for her and I'm learning at the same time. I tell her Mommy is human and she makes mistakes too so we all have challenges and the only thing we can do is learn from each other and help each other. She's growing up learning to speak up and to always stay humble too.

This year for my business is been all over the place. I've been working on my embroidery and creating new lapel pins which took me like 1 year to decide to make new ones. The reason it took me a long time I did not have the money and life got a little distracting. This year I took the time to write down what I wanted to do next year and I'm so ready for next year! Next year, I will be attendingWe all Grow Summit! I'm so excited to be attending and meet other Latina creative entrepreneurs. This Summit is all about supporting each other and inspire each other. I've been looking for a summit like this and I'm so ready! I also joined there membership group called Changemakers collective by #weallgrow which is the members-only online hub for Latinas who are ready to create change. I love this group because their online workshops to help you out with your business, and the biggest thing for me is that I get to meet other Latinas that want to help each other.

This year I did not get a chance to participate in Comic-Con, Designer Con, and other events where I can get my work out there. I will push myself to do at least one next year! I just need to start planning which one I want to be part of and just do it!

I want to thank you all for being so supportive and I got a challenge in life to change myself to the better. Thank you for making me see that being me is all I have to be. Being me has brought so many positive people in my life and I've met real down to earth people. Let's do this 2019 and I'm so ready for my next challenges!

BIG HUG & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Love,

Claudia
